Starting at noon you will be able to pray and celebrate faith in the resurrection before his mortal remains in the Heart of Mary Parish.C/ Obispo Rabadán.The Claretian Community, his sister Isabel who did not leave him for an instant and the entire Claretian Family thank God for a life so full of humor, love and divine tenderness.The thanksgiving eucharist will be celebrated, dm, tomorrow Sunday at 11 am in the Cathedral of Santa Ana».Father Pedro Fuertes, born in Astorga in 1932, was a historic professor of Language and Literature at Colegio Claret who trained numerous generations of Claretians.In 2011 he received a warm tribute organized by the center's alumni association as part of its annual fellowship dinner, in which members of different promotions, classmates and community members of the priest and many old friends participated.Emotionally, the priest spoke of his almost half a century dedicated to "the fascinating adventure of teaching and learning" and that each course was "a new year" for him.A poet and also a journalist, Fuertes was an emblem of the Rabadán street school and an unforgettable teacher for many of his innumerable students.The priest received a plaque in memory of the tribute and a very long applause from all those present for so many years of dedication “in body and soul.
